Simoneschi speaks on mixed shorthanded offshore
Will promote keelboat class for shorthanded sailing, but not necessary for Olympics
Riccardo Simoneschi is well known in Melges 24 circles winning several championships in the class. He is also a champion yachtsman in many other classes and has served for many years in various committees of World Sailing. He ran for vise president during the recent elections, however without becoming elected. Now Simoneschi is a strong advocate for mixed double handed offshore sailing, but is critical to the plans fo this discipline to become olympic already in 2024. Here he share his thoughts with Seilmagasinets Mikkel Thommessen.
